CORGI REGISTRATION

To work within the Gas Industry all operatives must be a member of CORGI and hold a current certificate for Core Gas safety and each category of appliances they wish to work on. It is illegal to work on any gas appliance or installation until a certificate for that category is obtained.

To satisfy the requirement for registration with CORGI, certified by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) You must be either:

  • An existing member of CORGI
  • An experienced gas operative renewing your expiring certificates
  • An experienced gas operative taking assessments to extend your work range
  • An operative with gas qualifications taking assessments for the first time
  • An operative with relevant qualification or experience in a similar job discipline.

Individuals seeking certification for the first time must provide evidence of qualifications and an authenticated work record.

Individuals wishing to enter the industry who do not fall into the above categories may still achieve certification by taking courses, please contact us for details.

In addition, we offer a range of 'Upskilling' and refresher courses for existing operatives within the Gas Industry. These beneficial courses will give you an understanding of new rules and regulations required by law.
